E' stata inaugurata ieri, con la presentazione ufficiale, la nuova pista dello stadio Olimpico di Londra dove si disputeranno le gare di atletica leggera dei Giochi 2012. La pista è stata progettata e realizzata dall'azienda italiana MONDO S.p.A., leader nella produzione di pavimentazioni sportive.
Il Presidente Seb Coe ha così dichiarato: "Today marks a huge milestone for the project, as the Olympic Stadium starts to come to life and people get a glimpse of how it will look in less than ten months' time when we welcome the world's athletes to London."
