Napoleon to "invade" Italy

Napoleon, 3, 1:53 ($682,959) who won the 2008 Yonkers Trot, has been sold to unnamed Italian interests, who have informed owner Ken Tucci that the son of Credit Winner will be headed to the breeding shed.
“Napoleon was training great and two weeks away from qualifying,” Tucci said. “His attitude was good and he's always been a versatile and sound horse. We turned away a number of deals in the off season, but the latest offer made it tough to say no.” Napoleon was the New York Sire Stakes Final winner at age two, and he also tied a Yonkers Raceway track record at two and holds Monticello Raceway’s track record for 3-year-olds. ...continua
